Bachelor of Sport Science (Human Movement)/Bachelor of Psychological Studies

When Brooke Muscat heard about VU’s combined degree in sport science and psychological studies, she knew she’d found a course that combined her two interests perfectly – just like her current position with Western Bulldogs’ Sons of the West and Daughters of the West programs.

"When I was researching university courses, I didn't hesitate to put VU first as they have incredible diversity when it comes to sport related courses.

"The opportunities the University provides are incredible. The connections they have with so many different sporting organisations are not only beneficial to VU but to the students like me who aspire to work in that industry. I also love the vibe around Footscray Park campus – it's cosy and feels really safe.

"I was fortunate to have three work experience placements during my studies. I worked with Fremantle Football Club in their Melbourne office with the recruitment team who find potential draft picks and player signings.

"I was also placed with Western Bulldogs Community Foundation in their Sons of the West and Daughters of the West programs where I am now working.

"These programs offer a great deal to the local community. Being a part of helping people get the best out of themselves mentally and physically is so rewarding."
