Apply for the Emerging Talent Program

Use this form to apply for Victoria University's Emerging Talent Program. If you're a state-level sportsperson, regardless of your course or campus, you may be eligible to access support through the program.

This application is available to both current and future Victoria University students.

Application process

  1. Check that you meet the eligibility requirements for the Emerging Talent Program.
  2. Complete and submit this online application form.
  3. Email your supporting evidence after submitting the form.

Once your application has been received, you will receive a confirmation email from eliteathletes@vu.edu.au. Please reply to that email and provide the required supporting documents listed below.

Supporting evidence required

  • A summary of your sporting achievements and experiences from the past 12 to 18 months (for example, a sporting résumé or CV).
  • Evidence of your participation and achievements, such as team selections, rankings, awards or certificates.
  • A reference letter from your club, organisation or sporting association confirming your level of involvement and ongoing commitments.
  • A high-quality action photo of you participating in your sport.
