Use this webform to determine your eligibility for a TAFE payment plan.

Before applying, ensure you have read the details about payment plans for TAFE students. Answer all questions and select the answer that applies. Follow instructions on your answers as indicated.

Further assessment will be conducted by VU's Finance Services Department. Your application may still be refused for other reasons (eg. history of non‐adherence or active debt collection).

Residency

  • Australian citizen
  • New Zealand citizen
  • Permanent resident visa holder
  • Humanitarian visa holder.

Course enrolment

I am currently enrolled in one of the following TAFE courses:

  • Certificate I–IV
  • Diploma
  • Advanced diploma 

Balance

My latest invoice says:

  • the charges are correct
  • my balance is more than $500
  • I do not have any overdue balance.

If you have an overdue balance, you cannot request a payment plan until the overdue amount is settled. Visit our how to pay your fees page for information on paying your overdue fees.

Diploma & advanced diploma courses

The section only applies to Australian citizens and humanitarian visa holders.

By submitting this application, I acknowledge and agree that:

  • I have read the full terms and conditions outlined on the payment plan for TAFE students page.
  • FACTS will automatically debit my nominated financial account and that it is my responsibility to ensure the debit does not fail for whatever reason (e.g. insufficient funds or incorrect account).
  • FACTS will automatically debit my nominated financial account. I understand it is my responsibility to ensure that the account details are correct and there is sufficient funds are available during the scheduled debit date.
  • The following non-refundable fees apply:
    • $41 enrolment/registration fee (per application)
    • $33 returned payment (dishonour) fee for each failed scheduled debit
  • Victoria University (VU) can only set payment plans with instalments scheduled up to the end of November of the current year, including any additional fees incurred due to changes in enrolment.
  • While I have an active payment plan with FACTS, all payments must be made via my online FACTS account.
  • VU may adjust my instalment amounts to reflect any additional charges or credits applied after my application is finalised.
  • VU may terminate my payment plan and refer my account to external debt collectors if I fail to comply with my payment schedule. I understand that sanctions and additional administrative or collection fees may apply, and I will be liable for these costs.
  • Withdrawing from my course does not automatically remove my financial liability. If I withdraw after the census date of the relevant study period, I will remain liable for the associated fees and my payment plan will continue.
  • My payment plan does not automatically roll over to the following year. I must submit a new application each year.
