Victoria University'sĀ Information Technology Services (ITS) department provides a range of IT assistance and support for students.

IT support locations

If you're experiencing an IT issue on campus you can visit one of the following support locations for help:

  • City Flinders: Library, Level 15, Room 15.10
  • City Queen: Q1.03
  • Footscray Park: Library, PB Level 2
  • Footscray Nicholson: T213
  • Sunshine: Whitten 3.007
  • St Albans Campus: Service desk, Building 5
  • Werribee: Library, Room 1A.117c.

IT Service Desk

The IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for IT support. You can report an issue or log your own IT service request.

Online reporting

Report a fault or create a service request through the online IT Self-Service Request System. Login using your MyVU username and password (same as your student email login details).

You can call the IT Service Desk onĀ +61 3 9919 2777 (select option 1) from anywhere within the University.

Hours of operation

During semester

Monday to Thursday: 8am - 9pm
Friday: 8.30am - 5pm

Semester break

Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5pm

Outside operating hours

Report an IT fault or service request onlineif it's outside our operating hours.

If you call outside our operating hours you will be connected to our voicemail system. When leaving a voicemail message, please leave a detailed description of the problem or request and include your:

  • name
  • phone number
  • student ID
  • department
  • location.
