Apply for the Elite Sport & Performer Program

Use this webform to apply for recognition through Victoria University’s Elite Sport and Performer Program (ESPP). Whether you're an athlete, performer, coach, or official (studying any degree at any VU campus) you can apply for support through this program!

This form serves two purposes depending on your status:

  • Current students: Use this form to apply for the Elite Sport and Performer Program. Applications are open year-round.
  • Future students: Use this form to apply for the Elite Sport and Performer Program and, if applicable, for the Elite Sport and Performer ATAR Adjustment.
    Applications for the 2027 ATAR Adjustment will open on 1 June 2026.

Registration process

  1. Check if you're eligible for the Elite Sport and Performer Program.
  2. Complete and submit this online application form.
  3. Email your supporting evidence.

After submitting the form, you'll receive a response email. Please reply to that email with the following evidence:

  • A summary of your achievements and experiences over the past 12–18 months (e.g., a sporting or performance résumé).
  • Proof of your involvement and achievements, such as team selection, rankings, awards, or performance certificates.
  • A reference letter from your organisation, club or association confirming your level of involvement and ongoing commitments.
  • A high-quality action photo of you in your sport or performance discipline.

VU Elite Sport and Performer Program terms & conditions

As a member, you are required to:

  • Attend the compulsory program induction session (for first-year members).
  • Keep your performance achievements and information up to date by communicating regularly with the Elite Sport and Performer Program Coordinator.
  • Stay in contact with your course and unit advisors to plan your studies and manage any scheduling conflicts.
  • Respond promptly to communications from the Elite Sport and Performer Program Coordinator.

Members are encouraged to:

  • Represent VU as an ambassador when possible.
  • Participate in UniSport-endorsed events, including Nationals, if relevant.
  • Provide a high-resolution photo for use by the University in print and online.
  • Support and promote VU’s sport and performance programs where possible.

By submitting this application, I agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information and supporting documents to VU.
  • Notify the Elite Sport and Performer Program Coordinator promptly of any changes to my sporting, performing, coaching, or officiating status.
  • Keep my contact details up to date.
