International Student Advisors (ISAs) are here to support you at Victoria University (VU).

Adjusting to a new culture and environment is exciting but it can be challenging at times. Your ISAs can help with all aspects of life in Melbourne, balancing life’s demands and when unexpected things occur.

Join our activities and programs to meet and connect with others during shared experiences. Discover Melbourne, develop new skills, and find out about opportunities at VU and in the community.

How your ISA can help

You can speak confidentially with an ISA about anything! No question is too big or small.

Some things you may like to discuss include:

  • personal and family concerns
  • overseas student health cover (OSHC), doctor's appointments or going to hospital
  • settling in to VU and life in Melbourne
  • concerns at work
  • your student visa conditions
  • becoming involved with your local community
  • accessing other support services
  • safety and contacting the police
  • finding a place to play your favourite sport
  • cultural differences.
