Our Student Advocacy service provides confidential advice, support and representation to help you progress successfully during your time at university.

Level 3 Academic Progress: If you have received notification that you are required to attend a Show Cause Panel (SCP) meeting because you have made unsatisfactory progress (failing six or more units within your course OR the same unit three times), you must follow the instructions in the notification email immediately and book your Show Cause Panel meeting time or you will be excluded from your course. Please ensure your Advocacy enquiry specifies the date and time of your Show Cause Panel meeting, and an Advocate will be in contact to assist you with preparing and presenting your case to the Show Cause Panel.

Our Student Advocates can offer support to TAFE, higher education, and research students currently enrolled at VU’s Melbourne campuses. 

We cannot offer support to students enrolled at VU’s partner institutions such as VU Online, VU Brisbane, VU Sydney and international partners.
