Overview
Drawing and painting practice will develop your practical skills and conceptual insights in visual art. You will take part in a series of guided studio-based projects for all abilities, incorporating a range of art materials and techniques, and capture your creative ideas in regular reflective visual diary entries. Art making will develop and explore observation; identify and demystify the processes involved in making drawings and paintings; and encourage experimental, innovative and conceptual approaches. Sessions also include a gallery visit and an art-making field trip. Structured discussions enriched with constructive critique will guide your growth as an artist, providing invaluable insights into your work and helping you refine your artistic voice.
