Overview
If you are a licenced electrician, complete your mandatory training with the free THACF Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course at Victoria University.
Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) requires licensed electrical workers to complete a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course within the 2 years before they renew their licence. This training is mandatory and free for licence holders.
This course is suitable for tradespeople who hold one of the following licences:
- Electrician
- Electrician (Supervised) (ES)
- Restricted Electrical Workers Licence Class 2
- Restricted Electrical Workers Licence Class 1.
Your licence category will determine which professional development you're required to complete:
- A: Electricians Licence
- ES: Electrician (Supervised) Workers Licence
- REL: Restricted Electrical Licence (Class 1 and 2).
Entry requirements
This course is available to all Victorian Licenced Electrical Workers (LEW).
Course structure
In order to be issued a Certificate of Participation for THACF Continuing Professional Development (CPD), a student must attend the course.
