Tasneem Chopra is a Cross Cultural Consultant, with over fifteen years' expertise and passion for cross-cultural excellence.

She is well versed in engaging community and stakeholders to apply an intersectional lens to community engagement involving partnering organisations from grassroots level to local government sectors. She has established multicultural and multifaith networks across state and national levels to further diverse and inclusive operating cultures.

Through her work as a cultural broker, Tasneem has embedded cultural diversity, cultural intelligence, and multicultural inclusivity across areas of:

  • media contributions.

An adaptable and adept leader, Tasneem is a Board Director for the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), Crescent Institute and an adviser to InTouch and Fire Rescue Victoria.

A TEDx Melbourne speaker and writer, Tasneem has featured in SBS Life, ABC’s the Drum, ABC’s Q&A, Chanel 10’s the Project, the Guardian, the Age and many more. In 2018, Tasneem was named an Anti-racism Champion by the Australian Human Rights Commission and in 2020 she was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for services to community diversity and inclusion leadership.
