Lisa has a strong reputation in the vocational and higher education sector, with extensive experience in expertly navigating complex operational environments.

As the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Enterprise and Digital, Lisa leads the strategy, planning and operations of Victoria University’s (VU) physical and digital infrastructure.

Recent roles include Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Pathways and Vocational Education) of Swinburne University of Technology and Chief Executive Officer of the Gordon Institute of TAFE in Geelong. She has also held other executive leadership positions at The Gordon and the University of Plymouth in the UK.

Throughout her career, Lisa has focused on modernising education delivery in a dynamic and competitive environment. Her passion and commitment as a leader in the education sector are toward realising and maximising the vital connection between industry needs, teaching excellence and career pathways.

Lisa’s former roles include Group Human Resources Manager (Victoria/Tasmania) with the Just Group and several senior HR and general management roles with the John Lewis Partnership, UK.

Lisa is the inaugural Chair of the Victorian Skills Authority Advisory Board, a Fellow Certified Practitioner of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. From January to December 2022, she was a VU Council member.
