Katherine is a Teaching Focused Academic within the First Year College, specifically working within the osteopathy program. She is unit convenor for the two clinical skills and biomedical science for osteopathy 3 units in addition to teaching into other subjects within the osteopathy discipline.

Katherine is passionate about fostering an engaging and fun learning environment for students so they can become talented health professionals and lifelong learners. 

Since her graduation in 1999, Katherine has had extensive industry experience as an ongoing practicing osteopath domestically (Sydney, Perth and Melbourne) and internationally (UK, Ireland, India) in addition to senior lecturing in osteopathic courses in Sydney and London. More recently, as part of her research degree, Katherine ran a clinical study through Western Health titled: ‘Physical Activity Adherence, Psychological Health and Immunological Outcomes (PAPHIO) in breast cancer survivors’.
