Victoria University (VU) and our TAFE division, Victoria Polytechnic, are pleased to announce our partnership with Williamstown Seagulls Football Club.

The partnership will provide VU students with placement opportunities within the club's operations, while giving Seagulls players access to educational opportunities as well as our world-class facilities and support programs.

Williamstown Football Club CEO Jason Reddick sees the long-term partnership with VU and Victoria Polytechnic as being mutually beneficial for the organisations and the community.

"To secure a long-term agreement with a blue chip partner organisation such as Victoria University is a terrific reflection of the level at which our club is now operating".

"VU and Williamstown Football Club share the same vision of advancing opportunities for the western suburbs and this partnership certainly provides for that and delivers great advantages for both parties."

Michael Clayton, VU’s Manager Industry, Community and Sport Engagement is excited about the impact the partnership will have on the community.

"Victoria University has a strong focus on partnerships which results in healthier, smarter and sustainable communities in the West of Melbourne and beyond," he said.

"The partnership will provide both parties the opportunity to deliver outcomes for players, students and the community alike."
