VU Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Germov, welcomed the strong result.

“This is an outstanding outcome and reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring VU graduates are career ready and equipped with the skills employers are looking for.

VU graduates experience the most industry-relevant courses that are co-designed with employers to equip them with future-focused capabilities. At VU this is evident across all of our courses: through work-integrated learning programs operating at scale to regular exposure to industry networks and mentoring programs."

Hannah Singleton, General Manager of Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, is one employer who has seen the strength of VU graduates.

“We have found students studying at VU to be great candidates for roles at the Foundation to support the programs that we run in the community.

“VU students have the opportunity to complete integrated work experiences that not only provide insight for the student in the different fields of work, but we get to see what they have to offer and have been impressed by some amazing talent that we can tap into when recruiting for work opportunities.”
