Two Victoria Polytechnic plumbing apprentices won awards at the recent Energy Safe Victoria Awards.

Bryce Williamson and Thomas Dunn each received Certificates of Achievement at the Energy Safe Victoria Awards for their hard work towards completing the Certificate III in Plumbing.

The awards, presented on Monday 20 March in Sunshine, will be covered in ESV magazine.

Bryce Williamson credits the teachers and resources at Victoria Polytechnic for assisting in his award win.

“The resources at VU are excellent and I’ve received so much help from the staff - it’s a great place to study. Teachers put in a lot of work to ensure students gain as much knowledge as possible and I believe that this is one of the main reasons I was able to win the Energy Safe Victoria Award”.

Victoria Polytechnic plumbing teacher, Peter Baulch, praised both students for their hard work and respective nominations. “During their time at Victoria Polytechnic, these two students have impressed both Brian Butler and myself with a motivated and enthusiastic approach towards their studies in Certificate III – Gas.

"They demonstrate a mature and diligent manner in class and have achieved outstanding results in Gas. This, coupled with a genuine passion towards this subject, has led to them being selected for an award from Energy Safe Victoria”.
