Bulldogs wins all around
After thrilling wins recently, both the Bulldogs AFL and VFL teams are preparing for another week of finals.
In a stunning performance the Western Bulldogs have ended Hawthorn's triple-premiership reign, beating them by 23 points on Friday at the MCG. VU student and stand in Captain, Easton Wood had a stellar game scoring two goals.
The Bulldogs have cemented their place in the preliminary showdown against GWS (Greater Western Sydney) on Saturday 24 September at Spotless Stadium.
Friday's win wasn't the only win for the club last weekend. For the second time in three years the Footscray Bulldogs will play-off in the Peter Jackson VFL Grand Final after a 119-point demolition of Collingwood.
The Footscray Bulldogs will play the minor premiers the Casey Scorpions on Sunday 25 September at the Etihad Stadium.
As a proud partner of the Western Bulldogs VU wishes them the best of luck for the this week's games.
