International Women’s Day Exhibition at VU Library

Visit the exhibition "Worth Our Work: Women, work, and the unfinished business of equal pay" to commemorate International Women’s Day 2026.
VU Library exhibition, on Level 2 at Footscray Park Library, showcases women’s long struggles for gender pay parity via a range of materials from Special Collections:
- banner, badges, documents and photos from the Regional Archive - Union of Australian Women
- books and reports from the Crow Collection
- journal focusing on Women and the State from the McLaren Collection.
The exhibition also traces activism connected to Aboriginal rights, the origins of International Women’s Day and global movements for women’s human rights and independence.
