First aid training for VU international students

Are you ready to build confidence in responding to real‑life emergencies? Join our first aid training workshop to get the essential certification for workplace first aid compliance in Australia!

After completing this working, you’ll receive a first aid certification (HLTAID011) to celebrate your new skills!

This workshop is for international students enrolled at VU Melbourne. There are only 20 spots per session, so secure you place with a $20 deposit. If you attend on the day, you’ll receive a full refund!

What to expect

• Hands-on experience: Get real experience managing first aid situations, including CPR on an adult manikin, using equipment and responding to scenarios based on real emergencies.
• Learn lifesaving skills: You’ll discover how to recognise and assess emergency situations, keep yourself and others safe, provide CPR and deliver effective first aid care until professional help arrives.
• Supportive environment: Meet others who want to make a difference! Whether you're building a safer workplace or boosting your personal skills, this workshop is perfect for beginners and those renewing their certification.

Pre-course assessment

You must complete a mandatory theory assessment before attending the face-to-face session. A pre-course theory assessment will be sent to you by the provider 14 days before your scheduled training date.
