Aura at VU: hair, beauty & massage salon
Aura is a simulated salon environment where clients can relax and experience a range of hair, barbering and beauty services in one pampering location.
Students have the opportunity to perfect their skills, including customer service and retail skills. Our students regularly win multiple awards in the annual Hair and Beauty Industry Association (HBIA) Awards.
All services are subject to availability and class schedules.

Aura offers a 20% discount on all treatments and services for VU staff, students and alumni on presentation of staff/student ID.

Barbering on the move with the VU Barbering Truck
The VU Barbering Truck takes our student barbering experience beyond the salon, bringing barbering services directly to VU campuses, events and the wider community.
Our barbering students provide a range of services in a practical training environment, helping them develop their skills while gaining valuable experience working with real clients.
