The aim of this unit of study is to provide a general introduction to the sources, nature and the scope of international trade law. It includes the functions and process of the WTO, a detailed analyses of principles in the agreements of the Uruguay Round, the international trade dispute resolution regime, and trade related aspects such as services, intellectual property, agricultural products, and the functions of the IMF and the World Bank.
