Come along to our free student workshop on "Emotional Intelligence" to learn how to handle the demands of university and work life. 

Learning more about emotional intelligence could help you in your personal and professional life. It refers to the ability to perceive, control and evaluate emotions.

This interactive workshop facilitated by VU Counsellor Ravi Lulla presents emotional intelligence as a framework to improve your motivation and develop personal competencies.

Together we will explore approaches to:

  • self awareness (getting more in touch with managing your emotions)
  • self management (managing your behaviour and tendencies).

We will discuss practical ways to manage emotions, particularly perfectionist thinking, worries and anxiety.
