Inaugural Hon. Michael Kirby Contract Law Moot Competition
This event has already taken place.
The Victoria Law School believes that the principles of contract are fundamental to a sound understanding of the law in all its contemporary guises. In support of this belief, we're proud to announce the inaugural Hon. Michael Kirby Contract Law Moot competition. The competition will be an annual event.
The moot will simulate dispute resolution proceedings for a contractual law dispute. Participants will develop and improve their practical legal skills as well as their comprehension and retention of the substantive contract law throughout the mooting period.
The competition is open to Australian law schools, and will run over three days at Victoria University's Queen Street campus. Registrations close at midnight, Friday 9 September 2011.
