Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: - speaking and listening, including when obtaining plumbing industry information; - reading and writing, including accessing and reading documents, drawings and specifications; - use numbers to locate information in plumbing legislation; - solve problems as they arise in the course of work; - plan and organise work; - use technology to locate key stakeholders information from the internet, and; - work cooperatively as a team member.Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: - types of regulatory information accessible and relevant to plumbers, and; - team dynamics.
