A person who demonstrates competency in this unit must be able to provide evidence of the ability to: - Apply organisational policies and procedures, including OHS and quality assurance requirements where applicable. - Interpret the building hierarchy of legislation and the associated compliance requirements. - Access, interpret and apply relevant legislation to the design of a specific commercial building project. - Recommend alternative solutions to a design or construction problem in accordance with relevant legislation.
