A student must have completed all the units in the Common Unit Group, as well as all units contained within one Pathway Group. Electrical Pathway Group: UEENEEG006A Solve problems in single and three phase low voltage machines; UEENEEG033A Solve problems in single and three phase low voltage electrical apparatus and circuits; UEENEEG063A Arrange circuits, control and protection for general electrical installations; UEENEEG106A Terminate cables, cords and accessories for low voltage circuits, and; UEENEEG108A Trouble-shoot and repair faults in low voltage electrical apparatus and circuits. Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills and knowledge: - control amplifiers; - industrial transducers; - industrial final control elements; - industrial control systems, and; - industrial control loops and control signals.
