General Mathematics provides courses of study for a broad range of students. Some students will not study Mathematics beyond Units 1 and 2, while others will intend to study Further Mathematics Units 3 and 4. The areas of study for Unit of General Mathematics are 'Arithmetic', 'Data analysis and simulation', 'Algebra', 1 and for Unit 2 'Graphs of linear and non-linear relations', 'Decision and business mathematics' and 'Geometry and trigonometry'. This unit is studied in Year 11.
