IT012 - IT pathways
Overview
This unit focuses on how individuals and organisations use ICT to meet a range of purposes. Students apply a range of knowledge and skills to create solutions, including those that have been produced using a programming or scripting language, to meet users’ needs. In this unit, students apply all stages of the problem-solving methodology when creating solutions.
Assessment
For Melbourne campuses
Demonstrated of 'Satisfactory completion' by a selection of Assessment tasks and Level of Performance by SAC (Tests) and Exams.
Required reading
The qualified trainer and assessor will provide teaching and learning materials as required in the form of Victoria Polytechnic produced workbooks.
As part of a course
This unit is not compulsory for any specific course. Depending on the course you study, this unit may be taken as an elective.
