Overview
This unit focuses on the European experience in Australia from the early years of the Port
Phillip District (later Victoria) through the nineteenth century and up to the eve of World War
I.
This unit is offered in Year 12.
Assessment
For Melbourne campuses
Demonstration of 'Satisfactory completion' by a selection of Assessment tasks and Level of Performance by SAC (Tests) and Exams .
Required reading
The lecturer will provide teaching and learning materials as required in the form of Victoria Polytechnic produced workbooks.
