Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: - identify own responsibilities in relation to the team and the organisation's requirements; - work effectively in a workgroup; - supporting team members; - using culturally appropriate communication skills; - acting on constructive feedback; - cooperating and contributing to team goals; - identifying improvement opportunities, and; - identify problems and conflicts and address them appropriately. Note: If a specific volume or frequency is not stated, then evidence must be provided at least once.Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: - outline the organisational standards, policies and procedures that relate to own work role; - outline team responsibilities and duties and their relationship to individual responsibilities and duties, and; - summarise conflict resolution techniques.
