Assessment

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: - develop a communication management plan and an information system for a specific project; - implement a project information system with a systematic approach to storage, searching, retrieval and archiving of relevant information; - implement and maintain communication processes, and; - review project outcomes and document suggestions for improvements to managing project information and communication for future projects.Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: - explain alternative communication methods and media and their application on various projects; - identify effective project-management information systems and their various applications, and; - explain methods used to evaluate information systems and communication processes.
