Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: - plan and allocate human resources to a project; - identify and organise project personnel training and development; - manage project personnel to achieve project outcomes, and; - apply human resource management (HRM) methods, techniques and tools to the project.Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: - summarise human resource management (HRM) methods, techniques and tools; - explain strategies for managing project human resources and their application to different situations; - explain processes used to measure individuals' performance against agreed criteria, and; - explain techniques for managing and improving performance.
