Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit's learning outcomes and performance criteria requirements, including the setting of work based practical application tasks designed to provide evidence of competence outcomes, within periodic and scheduled timelines. Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills: - identify the context for the promotional activities; - consult with relevant stakeholders to plan promotional activities to meet objectives, budget and timelines; - coordinate promotional activities, and; - analyse feedback and data to evaluate the effectiveness of planning processes and promotional activities and make recommendations on future directions of promotional activities.Students will also be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge: - outline the legislative and regulatory context of the organisation as relevant to the marketing plan; - outline the planning processes for organising promotional activities; - explain the organisation's marketing objectives and how they support the overall business objectives, and; - explain how common promotional activities could be used to support the marketing objectives.
