This certificate for study abroad students has a highly contemporary focus, and is designed to deliver both practical and theoretical knowledge in all aspects of screen media.

You'll develop skills in media production for the purposes of online distribution, video-on-demand streaming (e.g. YouTube), television, radio and more.

Working creatively as individuals, and in teams, you will produce:

  • cross-platform projects

  • motion graphics and visual effects

  • narrative film 

  • non-fiction short films and documentaries

  • podcasts 

  • television and radio programs.

Entry requirements

To be part of the study abroad certificate program, students must have:

  • completed one year of tertiary study
  • fulfilled their home institution’s academic requirements for overseas study
  • have a 2.5 Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale
  • provided documentation supporting their English language proficiency.

Key dates

  • Semester 1: February to June
  • Semester 2: July to November
