The Program provides an opportunity for competitive early career researchers to continue to build their publications and grant track record and importantly, lead a research project outside of their PhD study.
Accordingly, the Program provides funding support for the successful candidates to develop and work on an 18 month research project, and during this time, apply (with Victoria University as the administering organisation) for an external early career fellowship - either the ARC Discovery Early Career Award or the NHMRC Early Career Fellowship.
The University is now calling for applicants to develop and undertake an innovative research project that advances knowledge in one or more of the University’s areas of research focus:
- Applied Informatics
- Creative Arts & Writing
- Diversity, Communities & Wellbeing
- Education and Lifelong Learning
- Food Science & Nutrition
- Health & Biomedicine
- Sport, Exercise Science & Active Living
- Strategic Economics & Finance
- Supply Chain & Logistics
- Sustainability & Innovation
In 2015, up-to 4 Fellowships will be supported under this Program at Academic Level A.
