Researchers in ISEAL are looking for 18 to 40 year old men to participate in a four-week high intensity exercise program to see how they respond.

This major genetics study aims to uncover why people get different results from the same workout.

The main aim of this project is to identify how the presence or absence of the ACTN3 gene (often referred to as the human speed gene) affects your adaptation to exercise training.

Victoria University has received funding from the Australian Research Council to conduct this research.

If you have any questions about the study, you can contact our researchers.
