Beach safety day

Would you like your child learning about beach safety? Come along to Victoria University's Beach Safety Day.
We aim to educate children (6+ years in line with Life Saving Victoria’s Nipper Program) on basic lifesaving skills. We will teach them the skills to be safe in and around open water.
Activities for the day include:
- beach safety talk from an experienced Beach Lifesaver
- learning about beach safety signals
- rescues
- open water swimming
- board paddling
- beach games.
What to bring
Bathers, goggles, hat, sun smart clothing, towel, water bottle.
