Selective attention and the role of perceptual load - participants needed

VU Student Jordan Hince is currently undertaking research for his neuropsychology thesis.
The study is focusing on selective attention and perceptual load theory.

To be eligible to participate you need to:

  • be aged 18 - 25 years old
  • have normal vision or wear glasses/contact lenses
  • have no history of medical, neurological or psychiatric illness affecting visual thinking processes
  • not have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Participants will be required to sit in front of a computer monitor and press a button in response to letters appearing on the monitor. Measurements of your fingers on your right hand will also be taken.
