Participants (18-35 years) are needed for a research project investigating the effects of sodium bicarbonate on performance during repeat-sprint exercise training. Procedures include a VO2max test and 4 weeks of repeated-sprint training, which can lead to improvements in acceleration of up to 20%. Blood and muscle samples will be required.
Participants need to be physically active and currently do at least 30 minutes of cardio exercise 3-4 times per week.
Participants will be financially compensated for their involvement. Further information will be provided upon enquiry.
