Career Achievement Awards

The Career Achievement Awards recognise staff who have made significant contributions and lasting commitments to excellence that have left a legacy on the University's practices and systems.

Awardees are recognised by their peers for their role in providing quality teaching, research, service and engagement.

Here are the recipients of the most recent awards, granted in 2011:

  • Wayne Butson – Awarded for sustained service in the field of community development over 16 years.
  • Professor Roger Gabb – Recognised for a significant contribution to the field of Educational Development over a 30 year period.
  • David Jones – Recognised for dedication and educational leadership of the Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education over the past two decades.
