Become a Research Ambassador: Applications are open

Applications are now open for Research Ambassador positions. 

Research Ambassadors provide peer-to-peer research support to both research students and staff in a range of areas including data and file management, Endnote, SPSS, NVivo, document formatting, Library research databases and in other areas of relevance to researchers.

Who can apply?

This role is only available for currently enrolled PhD, Professional Doctorates or Masters by Research students at Victoria University who have candidature approval.

In this round of recruitment we are seeking to address specific gaps in the overall skill set of the Research Ambassador team such as:

  • strong public speaking/oral presentation skills
  • qualitative methods
  • Nvivo
  • doc formatting
  • writing & editing
  • mathematical modelling.

Employment will be on a casual academic rate for up to 8 hours per week. Successful candidates may be required to work at City FlindersFootscray ParkSt Albans or Werribee campuses and will be employed for one semester with the option to continue for a second semester.
