Victoria University Aquatic and Fitness Centre has recently been announced by the Australian Sports Commission as a Talent Assessment Centre for their new National Talent Identification and Development (NTID) Program.
The NTID is aimed at 12 to 25 year olds and participants are tested both for their physical and physiological attributes. Successful candidates will then be contacted by the Australian Sports Commission and asked to join the Talent Development program in their recommended sport with the aim of producing Olympians and World Champions.
You can now be assessed on campus at the Aquatic and Fitness Centre Footscray Park. Testing costs $22, and can be booked online by visiting www.ausport.gov.au/etid and choosing bookings.
