Advice to students on NTEU bans

The NTEU has advised Victoria University (VU) that they will be undertaking bans on the recording or transmission of student assessment and exam results.  VU is unable to assess the impact of these bans until the internal/ faculty due date for transmission of exam results.

VU is committed to supporting our students and will endeavour to minimise the effect on students of these bans.

The NTEU has indicated that there are exemptions from the ban in place for graduating students, students requiring a letter of completion and onshore international students. The NTEU has indicated that it will grant exemptions to students who face genuine hardship as a result of their results being withheld. The NTEU has also indicated that it will grant automatic exemptions to students whose result for a unit is "E", to allow students to sit supplementary assessments and to enrol in appropriate second semester units.

If you wish to make an application for exemption please complete the form to apply for an exemption.

If you seek clarification on exemptions contact the NTEU via their website.
