Local elders from the Wurundjeri nation will tour Victoria University's community garden in Albert Street Seddon next week to promote bush tucker and Reconciliation Week.
The gardens are the first stop on a tour of local Indigenous projects and facilities ahead of Reconciliation Week from 27 May to 3 June.
VU is helping to organise a large community celebration for Reconciliation Week at the Iramoo Sustainable Community Centre at the St Albans Campus on Saturday 30 May. The Reconciliation Rocks event will feature Indigenous music and dance, smoking ceremony, children's activities and tours of the native gardens.
