Skills and Jobs Centre workshops

You're invited to attend two free workshops at the Melton Skills and Jobs Centre.
You can attend both workshops or only one if you choose. Each attendee will be provided with a laptop to work on for the session and are encouraged to bring along a recent cover letter if they have one. You are not required to stay for both sessions. Please advise which session you will be attending when registering.
The hidden job market
Time: 10am – 11:30am
This session will cover how to look for employment both online and in person. Ways to look for the hidden job market will be explored as a group and individually.
All about cover letters
Time: 12:30pm – 2pm
This session will look at how you can ace that cover letter. Learn how to tailor your cover letter to the position description to land you an interview.
