Responsible gambling info sessions

This event has already taken place.

Wednesday 28 October 2015
Thursday 29 October 2015

VU is hosting responsible gambling education sessions for students and staff, presented by The Western Bulldogs and the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.

During Spring Racing Carnival it is a good time to reflect on responsible gambling and gain an understanding of how to look after our colleagues, friends and families who may be experiencing difficulties with gambling.

The session will provide staff and students with the tools and information to identify, support and cope with gambling problems.

The session is interactive and includes opportunity for discussion and questions. The session runs for approximately 45 minutes and includes discussion of the following topics:

  • The state of gambling in Victoria
  • The changing nature of gambling
  • Why this is relevant to your workplace
  • How to develop a gambling workplace policy
  • Lived experience.
