VU Library would like to invite you to attend a forum exploring developments in Open Access publishing.

An advocate for open access, she will also discuss the role of the AOASG, developments around mandates and compliance in addition to outlining developments in open access monograph publishing.

Following her presentation, Dr Danny Kingsley will answer questions about issues around open access.

The program also includes:

  • an overview of Open Access (OA) and some of the issues facing Universities
  • the impact of OA on publishers and publishing models
  • an overview of copyright aspects of OA
