This is a practical workshop to help researchers and staff applying for academic promotion to:

  • get help in highlighting their research accomplishments

There are different places where applicants can locate evidence of significant public engagement of their work by others. This information can be combined with citation measurements such as the h-index. Conducted in a computer laboratory, the workshop will cover how to:

  • gather citation data from Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar
  • calculate a researcher's h-index
