Bachelor of Business

Zaine Cordy

Hi, I'm Zaine Cordy from the Western Bulldogs, and I'm just doing this little video to give a little insight into what I do while I'm staying home. This is my little study setup. I'm trying to get as many subjects down as possible while I've got the spare time, considering I'm not training.

What are you currently studying?

Zaine Cordy

I'm currently studying bachelor of business, majoring in management and innovation. I'm currently in my third year, and I'll have about four subjects left, so I'm trying to knock off about three more subjects before the year is done before we start playing footy again, so hopefully I'll be able to do that.

Who do you live with?

Zaine Cordy

At home, I live with a roommate who is also studying, which helps us keep each other motivated, whether that's with doing physical activity or just with uni. It's quite good having someone else there to help you out. He's quite a physically active guy as well, so that's quite handy, especially when I need to go for a kick or something to do some training.

Zaine’s tips for studying

Zaine Cordy

The two main things I use to get through this uncertain time is setting daily goals and creating a routine to follow every day. Goals may include how fast you do your running or how much uni you do throughout the day. The routine, wake up the same time of the day and do your exercise at the same time of day, which allows you to have the afternoon off for free time. So, that's what I try and do to get through this uncertain time.

Why do you like block mode?

Zaine Cordy

The reason I personally prefer block mode is that you can get a subject down in four weeks. This is extremely helpful for someone such as myself where we're quite busy people. So, if I can get a subject ticked off in four weeks, it goes a long way. So, that's pretty much why I've nearly finished my courses because I've been able to tick off a couple subjects here and there without having to spend too much time with uni. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and keep in touch with your friends.
