Joanneum University of Applied Sciences is located in Graz, Austria's second largest city and only 200km south-west of the capital of Vienna. Home to 6 Universities, Graz is full of students taking advantage of the Alps and the sunny Mediterranean influenced weather. Graz is an easy to get around with an extensible public transport service including trams, buses and trains for easy access to neighbouring countries such as the Czech Republic, Hungary Italy and Germany. Austria's fourth largest city, Salzburg is located close to the German border and is only 150km south-east of Munich and is home to three universities.
