Dr Jessica Scarfo is a psychology lecturer and research academic with the College of Health and Biomedicine and the Institute for Health and Sport.
Jessica is passionate about teaching and has extensive lecturing and convening experience in the discipline of psychology across the undergraduate program. Jessica also supervises honours and co-supervises PhD students in completing their research theses in psychology. Jessica has completed her Bachelor of Psychological Studies (Honours) and her PhD in the areas of cognition and psychological assessment, both degrees here at VU. She is proud to be a successful product of the place where she now works, and feels this gives her a valuable insight into the experience of VU students.
Before pursuing her academic career Jessica worked in aged care, which has fostered her passion to further enhance her studies within the field of psychology.
Her research and teaching interests include neuropsychology, psychological assessment, cognitive psychology, psychobiology and statistics.
Jessica is currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate of Tertiary Education.
